Modeling, shading, lighting and rendering done in Maya. Cloth sim (carpet) and tree done in XSI. Fractures done in 3DS Max/Rayfire. Textures and a bit of post in Photoshop.

There’s a long tutorial I wrote, covering modeling, UVs and texturing of a Celeritas spaceship (based on a concept art done by karakterconcept.com guys) in 3D Creative magazine issues 64, 65, 66, and 67. Here’s a view of the last chapter covering some texturing techniques. You can find all the issues at 3dtotal.com. Also, my Hudson locomotive was featured in CG Arena magazine Volume 6, Issue 1 and 3D Creative issue 67.

Some t-gen2 (tree and plant generator) for XSI tests. I’love this plugin. So easy to use and you can get great results really fast. It also works with XSI forces interactively in the viewport.
